Turtle Coat is the result of evolution in paint and coating products. The advancement in the chemical technology of resins and adhesives make a coating system such as Turtle Coat possible.

Turtle Coat’s ceramic formulation has been in use since 1985 from our manufacturer  in south Florida. They began in business in 1964. Over the years, this ceramic coating system has seen improvements as technology has advanced and will continue to evolve with future technology. Each vat of Turtle Coat is computer analyzed to ensure consistency and uniform product quality. Turtle Coat Ceramic Coatings is flexible, breathable, mold and mildew resistant and has one of the lowest V.O.C. emissions of any other product like it. The solid content of Turtle Coat is made up, largely, of hollow microscopic ceramic particles that reflect U.V. and infrared rays of the sun and because of their round shape, compact into a tight, tough film when it cures. Turtle Coat is the original elastomeric ceramic coating system and not a copy or knock-off of any other product.

Our manufacturer’s client base is made up of large commercial, industrial, government and military customers.

Dealers such as Southeast Coatings, Inc. make the Turtle Coat Ceramic Coating System available to residential, intermediate size commercial and light industrial customers in Georgia and the Tennessee Valley Area. They are among a network of dealers that cover all 50 states and over 30 different countries.

Southeast Coatings, Inc. is owned and operated by Jeff Roper, who has been in the painting business since 1983.

After being introduced to Ceramic Coatings, he quickly realized he could offer property owners a product that not only offered aesthetic appeal, but would stay looking new and protect the building like nothing ever offered in

retail stores. Only quality ingredients are used in Turtle  Coat’s. Resins from DuPont and solids from 3M ensure that quality as well as independent testing from BASF, (Their slogan: we don’t make the products you buy, we make the products you buy better), as well as other major, independent testing facilities. We also handle most any repairs to the building, when needed, as part of our extensive preparation, before the coating system is applied.
